Mount Carmel School, Mira Road (E), a citadel of education, greets its pupil, teachers and staff, parents and well wishers with the new website venture. I, as a manager of this institution feel immensely honored to introduce this little space of education. At the onset, we are eternally grateful to Mr. Norbert and Mrs. Violet Mascharenhas for their initiative and immense support towards this institution. May God bless them with good health and happiness for creating the initial vigor and encouraging the startup and progress.
This school started with the academic year 2016 -2017 having the aim of forming a person to love for learning with godly values and skills of discovering individual potentiality. Since the initiation we have focused on progress in all spheres of life of each student. And we are sure that through the help of our management and teachers, we are able to change the future of each student by changing the present habits. This transformation is only possible if we receive the full cooperation of the parents and guardians who are first teachers of our students.
On the one hand the teacher is the binge between the management and the students. It is Albert Einstein who says, “It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge”. Further he also says, “I never teach my pupils, I only provide the conditions in which they can learn”. That is what we at Mount Carmel strive for. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam our ex president says, “Teaching is a very noble Profession that shapes the Character, Caliber and future of an individual. If the people remember me as a Good teacher that will be the Biggest honor for me”. So let our teachers be in the memory of each of our pupil.
All this is possible with the intercessions of Mary, Mother of Carmel who is the patron and guardian of our institution. It is she who leads us to Her Son, who gives us the perfection of life. May her blessings be upon the pupil, teachers, parents and the management.
