SECONDARY SECTION TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION

The Teacher’s Day celebration at Mount Carmel School was held on 4th September 2025. As part of the tradition, students of the secondary section stepped into the shoes of their teachers, managing classes for the day. There was section wise celebration for teachers organized by the students. Once the children departed, a special programme was hosted by the Student Council at St. Joseph Church Hall to honor the teachers. The celebration carried the theme of Bollywood. Teachers were warmly welcomed at the entrance with cheerful music and songs. The programme began with a graceful prayer dance by the secondary students, invoking God’s blessings. Dance performances added charm and vibrancy to the celebration. A touching speech was delivered to acknowledge the dedication, patience, guidance, and tireless efforts of all teachers. The presence of our Principals, Fr. Pawan Saldanha and Fr. Nelson Cardoza, Vice-Principal Fr. Ashwin DSouza, and Manager Fr. Regan DSouza added immense value to the occasion. They extended heartfelt appreciation to the teachers, non-teaching staff, and helpers for their service and commitment to the school. The event also featured exciting spot prizes and engaging games for everyone. A surprise performance by the teachers themselves was a highlight of the day, greeted with much enthusiasm and applause. The celebration was further graced by our parish priest, Fr. Lawrence D’Souza, along with other priests. The day concluded with the cutting of a cake, followed by a delicious lunch for all. To make the occasion even more special, a gift of gratitude was presented by the Principals and Management. The joyous moments were captured in photographs, preserving the memories for the entire Mount Carmel family.
