PRIMARY INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

The Primary Section of Mount Carmel School celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm. The event began with a lively dance by Std 1 and 2, followed by a Marathi speech on the significance of the day. Std 3 and 4 then presented a graceful dance showcasing Indian culture. Speeches in Hindi and English highlighted the struggles of the freedom movement and the role of citizens today. A special attraction was the ramp walk of students dressed as historical heroes, each portraying their contribution to India’s freedom. Students really showcased their talent by presenting freedom fighters of our independent country. The stage was crowded with brave leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and many more leaders. They pledged on the stage to save our nation in future by paying tribute to our Freedom Fighters. The Principal addressed the gathering with an inspiring message, after which the prefect badges were pinned to the new student leaders. A vote of thanks was proposed, and the celebration concluded with the National Anthem, filling all with pride for the nation. The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great respect and pride by showing respect to our beloved nation.
