The Feast Day of our lady of Mount Carmel and the birthday of Fr. Regan DSouza, Manager of Mount Carmel School, were celebrated on 15th July 2025 in the St. Joseph Community Hall. The day began with a special Thanksgiving Mass for the entire Mount Carmel community at 7:15 am by our respected Frs. Avith and Jeswin. The primary section program began at 11a.m. Our Principals Fr. Nelson Cardoza and Fr. Pawan Saldanha along with Fr. Ashwin DSouza (Vice Principal) and Fr Regan Dsouza (Manager) were present for the program. The program began with welcoming the guests of honor and short prayer was said by Tr Alvira followed by a beautiful speech by student from grade 4. All the children sang the Happy Birthday song while Fr. Regan cut the cake and thereafter students presented birthday greeting cards. Fr Regan addressed the children and provided magical words for them to follow in their lives. Tr Loveena wished Father on behalf of entire Primary section with great words and appreciations. Students from grade 3 and 4 performed mesmerizing and energetic dances to embark the essence and joy of the feast day. Teachers of Primary section also added spice to the program by performing energetic dance. Fr Nelson later addressed children and the staff with short speech and inspiring words. Students who performed well in the SOF exam were also honored by the certificates and the medals. The vote of thanks was given by Tr Anjali Fernandes. The school anthem was sung by all the students to end the program.
