To celebrate the special bond between parents and children, a Parents Day Card-Making Competition was organized for the Pre-Primary section at Mount Carmel School during school hours. Students were instructed to bring materials such as colours, stickers, and other decorative items. Participation was compulsory for all children. A worksheet featuring a base image was provided by the school to guide the activity. The children participated with great enthusiasm, creatively using stickers, bindis, and their own drawings to design heartfelt cards for their parents. Their imagination and effort were clearly reflected in each card. Teachers appreciated all the children for their unique ideas and enthusiastic participation. The best three cards from each class across all three sections were selected and awarded certificates by our Principal, Fr. Pawan Saldanha. The activity created a warm and joyful atmosphere, and the joy and excitement on the kids faces were truly heartwarming. Each child proudly carried their handmade card home as a surprise for their parents.
